lumino

Focusing on contemporary trios, living composers, and crossover genres, Lumino explores the boundaries of the chamber music genre. Violinist Sonia Lee, clarinetist Lisa Raschiatore, and pianist John Etsell’s current repertoire includes works by composers Bolcom, Bartok, Burhans, Berg, Milhaud, Ives, Rorem, and Glass, among many others. Lee and Raschiatore were originally introduced by Joel Peterson, collaborating on his compositions, and have frequently performed at his venue, Trinosophes.  Upcoming 2021-22 Season performances include the Schmier Recital Series, and a guest artist recital at Madonna University.  A recent recital appearance with Pro Musica LIVE web series from March 2021 is archived online.
